Jirsa Construction was founded in 2005 by Brett Jirsa, a lifetime Flagstaff Resident. Having grown up in the contracting business, his roots in construction date back to childhood and his professional experience is over 30 years. Jirsa Construction has built dozens of custom and spec homes in the Flagstaff area and worked with many homeowners to remodel and reimagine their homes.
Jirsa Construction has made a name for itself for being a leader in contemporary, unique and sustainable homes in Northern Arizona. Time and time again, Jirsa has received outstanding positive feedback and testimony from clients. Jill Asplund has been running the office operations for Jirsa Construction since 2016. She has a background in investments and the non-profit sector before working with Jirsa. In her free time, Jill loves spending time with her family in the outdoors, gardening and art.

NICH PANICE
Superintendent
Nich Panice is a Superintendent at Jirsa with about 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Originally from Rock Falls, Illinois, Nich spent most of his life before moving to Florida and then settling in Flagstaff, where he has lived for the past eight years. With one year at Jirsa, he contributes a broad range of experience, including work in welding, corn and cattle operations, concrete, and five years of service as a correctional officer for the Illinois prison system. Outside of work, Nich enjoys staying active through hunting, fishing, running, hiking, playing basketball, skiing, and spending time outdoors.
ARMANDO BAHE
Carpenter
Armando Bahe is from Grandfalls, AZ, and he grew up in Kachina Village, south of Flagstaff. He has been doing carpentry for 15 years and has worked as a commercial electrician for 4 years, along with pretty much anything related to construction. He retired from being a mime because of job-related injuries. Outside of work he loves playing basketball, art, and hiking.
Originally from Heber, Rhett McLaws has been with Jirsa for about 2 years and brings around
five years of prior experience in the construction industry and electrical. He enjoys working with his hands and spending time outdoors, which reflects both in his work ethic and his interests outside of the job.

Trypp Jirsa was born and raised in Flagstaff and has a lifelong connection to construction. Raised in the field, he’s been involved in nearly every aspect of the trade, from framing and carpentry to dirt work and demo. He’s been working full-time in construction for the past two years. Outside of work, Trypp is passionate about the outdoors, enjoying activities like hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing. He is currently serving a two-year mission in Columbia, with plans to return to Jirsa Construction and continue his work in the family business.
ROWDY JIRSA
Carpenter
Rowdy Jirsa focuses primarily on dirt work and is expanding his experience in carpentry and other areas of residential construction as he takes on a full-time role with Jirsa Construction. With construction as part of his family’s background, Rowdy has been familiar with the trade from an early age. Born and raised in Flagstaff, he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and skiing in his free time.
Briana McLaws grew up in Queen Creek, Arizona and is currently a Senior at Northern Arizona University studying interior design. She enjoys working with Jirsa as an opportunity to learn more about the construction and design industry and gain hands-on experience in the professional world. With a long-standing interest in interior design, she hopes to pursue a career in the field after completing her degree. She has a strong passion for organization and brings experience in photography to the team. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
